Nutrient composition of Peat Substrate 1

This Peat Substrate 1 (PG-MIX 12+14+24) is prepared as a mixture of low decomposition degree (H3-H4) with lime material and nutrient elements. The substrate does not contain weed seeds or harmful microorganism. For full cultivation, additional application of fertilizers is required after 3-4 weeks of growing with 7-10 day intervals, in accordance with individual characteristics of plants.

This substrate is intended for raising fruit-bearing crop, indoor plants as well as for various kinds of seedlings which need a low level of nitrogen and require a higher content of potassium, first of all during winter period. It is the most effective for growing tomatoes, paprika, onion, beans, potatoes, lettuce, cabbage, horse -radish, etc. It is also effective for growing begonias, rubber plants, gladioli, cactus, lilies, petunias, etc. The required fertilization is performed in 4-5 weeks.
